Across the worlds, life is falling silent faster than it can be surveyed. What goes unrecorded is lost for good.

The register of the living must be kept. The work requires you.

THE EXISTENCE

Scroll to explore

God is dead and now life depends on you

With Him went the knowledge of every universe. Nothing new can be created anymore, while anything can still be destroyed. Evolution, once guided, now runs unchecked across countless worlds.

One agency still keeps watch. THE EXISTENCE sends its Explorers from world to world to record every form of life before it is lost. They are told it is to preserve it.

A planet of DE-UNIVERSIS, glowing with life

This is DE-UNIVERSIS

Imagine a universe you can create, explore and collect. You shape a planet in Demiurge, an app for building worlds, and fill it with life. You reach a world someone else made in one of two games, Orbis or Vestigia Project, and every creature you meet becomes a card of your own. Some have already been found.

Demiurge

A worldbuilding canvas

Where you play God.

Everything in DE-UNIVERSIS starts here. Demiurge is made for worldbuilding, creature design and storytelling, one block at a time. You place a star with its planets and moons, then bring in biomes, creatures, plants and civilizations, and give them a history through events and legends. All of it grows from an idea of yours, even just a few words or a picture you have in mind.

In Demiurge, every detail has a reason. Each block reads the ones it is connected to: a creature born on a frozen moon is shaped by the cold, by what there is to eat and by who lives nearby. Predators find their prey, each species fits its climate, and every story follows from what came before.

AI turns your idea into a first draft, from its name to its body and habits, and paints its portrait. You keep what works and change the rest, until the world holds together.

AI-augmented, not AI-generated. Every choice stays with the person at the canvas.

Orbis

A puzzle game for phones, with creatures to collect

Read a world from orbit.

THE EXISTENCE sends you to planets no one has recorded. Your ship holds orbit, and each world reaches you as data: biomes, weather, traces of life.

Each fragment is the reconstruction of one biome. You lay them on a simulation of the planet, matching them edge to edge, to see whether the data add up.

Complete the surface and the planet goes on record, with every creature you found on it. Game after game, their cards take shape in your Collection. One planet at a time, for an agency you have no reason to doubt.

Vestigia Project

A multiplayer exploration game

Seek what God left behind.

As an Explorer of THE EXISTENCE, you land on uncharted planets, alongside every other player. You map them, catalog their creatures and leave marks for the next Explorer to find, the vestigia that give the game its name.

When God died, pieces of His Soul Code may have survived Him, scattered through space. Some could lie in the rarest creatures you record. The agency chooses where you go, and never tells you why.

The deeper you go, the more you learn about the people you work for. Whoever puts the Soul Code back together will have to decide what to do with it, and no choice is the right one.

Umberto Cipri, on a DE-UNIVERSIS card

Behind it

Umberto Cipri

I'm a creative leader with a background in art direction, visual design and storytelling. These days I spend more and more of my time turning ideas into things people can see, try and use: digital products, prototypes, game concepts, fictional worlds.

DE-UNIVERSIS started in 2024 as a series of creature cards on Instagram and TikTok, and grew into a universe with its own rules and history.

I like working on ideas while they're still a bit messy, with design, code and generative AI, to find out quickly whether there's something there. The best part comes when other people start adding things I would never have thought of, and DE-UNIVERSIS is meant to grow that way.

Most of the work happens live on Twitch, in English and Italian: the code written together with AI, the worlds as they take shape, and the moment a new creature comes to life.
